Project Food
Project Food is a key emergency food rescuer in Washington DC, primarily serving Wards 7 & 8, the two most under-resourced wards in the city. We also assist the food-insecure in Northern, VA, Shenandoah County, VA, Baltimore and Suburban MD. We serve seniors, the home-bound, women and children, working poor, veterans and those experiencing homelessness.

Make a Real Change in Someone’s Life…
Our needs include: Preparing and distributing 900 homeless bags each month ($1.50 each). Purchasing 2 used refrigerator/freezers ($325 each). Providing a hot meal to the homeless or unemployed ($9 each) and general operating expenses.
