In less than a year, we’ve grown into one of the largest emergency food distributors in Washington, DC, primarily serving Wards 7 & 8, the two most under-resourced wards in the city. We serve the food insecure including the unemployed, the 60 million newly-unemployed, working poor, seniors, homebound, disabled, and those experiencing homelessness.

Our needs include: Preparing and distributing 900 homeless bags each month ($1.50 each). Purchasing 2 used refrigerator/freezers ($325 each). Providing a hot meal to the homeless or unemployed ($9 each) and general operating expenses.
