Princess Ball FAQ
Where and when is The Royal Princess Ball held?
The Annual Princess Ball will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025. The First performance begins at 10 am and ends at 11:30am. The second show begins at 12:30 pm and ends at 2pm at the Clarion Inn Event Center Ballroom in Frederick, Maryland.
How much are the tickets?
Tickets go on sale Sunday, December 1, 2024 at noon. Adult and child tickets are $38. Children under 2 free when accompanying paid attendees.
How many characters do you typically have at your events?
At any given event, we make every effort to have at least 10 Princesses/Prince present! This is subject to availability and characters may vary from our promotional photos.
How does the Royal Princess Ball support Caring Communities?
100% of the net proceeds of The Royal Princess Ball goes to Caring Communities. Caring Communities is a widely respected service organization offering disability-related activities and events for thousands within the entire disabilities community in MD, DC and Virginia. I understand that a lot of little girls will enjoy the Ball, but is this event suitable for boys?
Of course! We welcome many little Princes to the Ball. The Princess Ball is an inclusive event, full of magic, whimsy, and gentle entertainment, and is proud to cater to every child. We have many activities that appeal to boys and girls alike, including a goody bar, glitter tattoos, arts and crafts, and dancing. Do bear in mind that the event is most suitable for boys and girls that enjoy Princesses, and all aspects of a Royal Ball. The boys will especially love Prince Charming!
How early can we arrive before the event?
Doors open 30 minutes before the show
Will food be served?
Unless explicitly stated in our event description, we do not serve food at our events. You should plan on eating before or after our event.
Can my child wear her favorite princess costume or his favorite prince costume?
Definitely!
May I buy tickets for people other than myself?
Yes, you may. However, we will need the full and correct name for every guest attending, as well as an email address for each adult and the street address name of each child for customized, printed, early bird invitation (early bird purchasers only).
Is my ticket transferable?
Tickets may be able to be transferred to another name, within the same ticket bracket, upon request. Please contact mona@caringcommunities.org with your name and email address, and the request. While we will work to accommodate your request, please note that, depending on circumstances and timing, transfer requests are not guaranteed.
What is the refund policy?
Every ticket for The Princess Ball is non-refundable. However, tickets may be able to be transferred to another name, upon request. While we will work to accommodate your request, please note that, depending on circumstances and timing, transfer requests are not guaranteed.
What is the event cancellation policy?
Inclement weather and similar “acts of God” are beyond the control of the event, and therefore no refunds can be issued if the venue is open and functioning at the time of the event.
I wasn’t able to get a ticket. How can I get one?
The Royal Princess Ball is a high-demand event, and we simply cannot accommodate everyone who wants to purchase tickets. However, we occasionally have a few tickets that come up for sale close to the event date.
Do I have to bring my ticket for entry into the event?
Yes, please ensure that you bring the printed ticket from ________________ for each member of your party from when you enter the event.
Parking and Transportation
What are my parking options at the event?
Ample free parking is available in the Clarion Event Center parking lot.
